Abstract
Most pediatricians initiate postnatal management of prenatally detected hydronephrosis; therefore, pediatricians truly are the gatekeepers for children with this condition. Knowledge of the practice patterns is crucial for the dissemination of evidence-based information to the appropriate providers and will enable us to learn more about the utility of antibiotic prophylaxis in future studies.
