Abstract
Routine transvaginal ultrasound examination at approximately 6-7 weeks of gestation could facilitate the diagnosis of HP, although repeat ultrasound is necessary to avoid misdiagnosis. Prompt diagnosis and correct treatment, including local injection of MTX or MTX in combination with KCl into various ectopic sites, led to favourable prognoses.
