Abstract
⺠Tribocorrosion of two stainless steels are investigated in chloride and sulfate media. ⺠A method to describe the depassivation and repassivation kinetic is proposed. ⺠Depassivation is only controlled by the solution chemistry. ⺠Repassivation step is linked to the chromium and nickel content on material.
