Abstract
⺠PEEK polymer was lubricated by a natural fibrinolytic enzyme (a protein), nattokinase. ⺠Nattokinase solution reduces the wear of the polymer. ⺠Nattokinase is also an effective lubricant in the presence of NaCl in the solution.
