Abstract
⺠Conducted cavitation pitting tests under various cavitation intensities. ⺠Pit statistics were characterized by the pitting rate and the pit size distributions. ⺠The pit distributions were parameterized by a Weibull distribution. ⺠Dependency of the characteristic parameters on jet pressure and G32 test was obtained. ⺠Characteristic pit shape ratio is independent of material and cavitation strength.
