Abstract
► Conducted cavitation pitting tests under various cavitation intensities. ► Pit statistics were characterized by the pitting rate and the pit size distributions. ► The pit distributions were parameterized by a Weibull distribution. ► Dependency of the characteristic parameters on jet pressure and G32 test was obtained. ► Characteristic pit shape ratio is independent of material and cavitation strength.
