Abstract
⺠Friction materials based on three nano-sized abrasives were developed first time. ⺠Tribo-performance was compared with composites having micro-sized abrasives. ⺠Nano-abrasives were more effective in improving friction and wear performance. ⺠Nano-fillers altered wear mechanism by transferring thin film on the surfaces.
