Abstract
⺠Metal matrix composites were manufactured to determine their tribological properties. ⺠Unreinforced AA2124 and GGG40 cam samples were also prepared for tribological tests. ⺠The specific wear resistance of composites (Al-B4C, Al-SiC) is better than GGG40. ⺠The size of the reinforcing particles has an important effect on the wear rate.
