Abstract
⺠Ag-MoS2 nanoparticle-based multi-component lubricant has been developed. ⺠Tribological and thermal behavior of Ag-MoS2 multi-component lubricant has been investigated. ⺠The friction coefficient and wear have been reduced by using Ag-MoS2 multi-component lubricant. ⺠The thermal life of MoS2 nanoparticles has been prolonged by adding Ag nanoparticles. ⺠Formation of silver-molybdate at higher temperature enhances the performance of Ag-MoS2.
