Abstract
⺠We polished three kinds of aggregates and analyzed the evolution of the surface height profiles and dynamic friction coefficient. ⺠The rubber polishing action leads to a significant changes of profiles in micro-scale. ⺠The evolution of friction is primarily governed by micro-scale changes in texture profile due to differential removal of mineral components.
