Abstract
► A new model is presented to describe the particle removal behaviour. ► Particles in contact area are rolling by hydrodynamic drag force and elastic force. ► Particles in the concave area are rolling by the hydrodynamic drag force. ► Particles embedded in the brush asperities will be removed by friction.
