Abstract
► FEM parametric study was performed to simulate the standardized scratch test. ► The study correlates constitutive parameters with scratch visibility resistance. ► Yield stress and strain at stress recovery are found to be most important. ► Approaches for improving scratch visibility resistance of polymers are discussed.
