Abstract
⺠Pin-on-disc tests to study cross-shear using virgin and highly crosslinked UHMWPE. ⺠The wear rate of virgin UHMWPE is highly effected by cross shear. ⺠The wear rate of highly crosslinked UHMWPE is not effected by cross shear.
