Abstract
ⶠFull scale rail wheel test rig tests with friction modifier application. ⶠFriction modifier application reduces wear and RCF formation on the test rig. ⶠAlso long term test rig tests result in low wear rates and no RCF formation ⶠDry friction modifier application on preexisting cracks does not result in accelerated crack growth.
