▶ Experimental validation of theoretical dynamics-based corrugation wavelength fixing characteristics under various conditions. ▶ Experimental validation of the theoretical effects of traction ratio, speed variation and friction control on corrugation growth. ▶ Experimental identification of the significance of contact patch widening during the initial stages of corrugation growth. ▶ Variable speed control and friction modifiers experimentally and theoretically reduce corrugation growth by up to 6 times.
