Abstract
â¶ Experimental validation of theoretical dynamics-based corrugation wavelength fixing characteristics under various conditions. â¶ Experimental validation of the theoretical effects of traction ratio, speed variation and friction control on corrugation growth. â¶ Experimental identification of the significance of contact patch widening during the initial stages of corrugation growth. â¶ Variable speed control and friction modifiers experimentally and theoretically reduce corrugation growth by up to 6 times.
