Abstract
⺠HPV16-negativity and extravaginal recurrence were significant poor prognostic factors in patients who recurred after primary radical hysterectomy. ⺠Future trials for recurrent cervical cancer could be stratified for these two prognostic factors with further external validation. ⺠Multimodal salvage therapy has lead to improved survival after recurrence for those with non-squamous histology or pelvic node metastasis.
