Abstract
⺠We have elaborated on functional roles of ovarian cancerâspecific kallikreins due to regulation of integrin expression and cell adhesion. ⺠Paclitaxelâinsensitivity of KLKâexpressing cancer cells was accompanied by differential expression of drugâresistanceâgenes, indicative of disease progression. ⺠These key findings provide new mechanistic insight into peritoneal spread and chemoresistance of advanced ovarian cancer.
