Abstract
â¶ Contact stiffness of metallic rough surfaces is measured. â¶ Three metallic matrials with 2 roughness are tested. â¶ Sevaral elastic to plastic asperity-based models are evaluated. â¶ Microgeometry is the first order parameter in the contact stiffness. â¶ The material properties (elastic and plastic domains) are second order parameters.
