Abstract
▶ The MoS2/Sb2O3/Au composite solid lubricant coating was shown to wear less at cold (−100°C) temperatures. ▶ The friction coefficient was athermal and remained below 0.02 for all temperature experiments. ▶ The average debris diameter size decreased as the temperature decreased. The range of debris sizes decreased too.
