Abstract
⺠The efficacy of catalytic materials to mitigate scaling of carbon steel was evaluated. ⺠The present catalytic materials include tourmaline, zinc and aluminum. ⺠The treatment case showed a reduction in scale deposition amount by as much as 21%. ⺠Less pointed and thicker crystal structures were obtained for scales at treatment case.
