Abstract
⺠Box-Behnken response surface methodology was employed to optimize the experimental conditions. ⺠Combined effects of three aeration parameters (intensity, time and position) on effluent quality and membrane fouling were studied. ⺠Aeration flow rate had a more profound effect on effluent quality and membrane fouling, as compared to the other two. ⺠Energy consumption was also considered.
