Abstract
⺠Mechanically and chemically modified TiO2 in PES hollow fibers were investigated. ⺠The nanocomposite hollow fibers had higher flux and slightly lower molecular weight cutoff. ⺠Flux recovery after cleaning did not improve in the nanocomposite membranes. ⺠Nanocomposite PES hollow fibers were robust and more difficult to deform. ⺠Tensile strength and elongation at break were reduced.
