Abstract
⺠A hybrid growth Membrane BioReactor (HG-MBR) with four configurations was tested. ⺠An adequate balance between MLSS and biofilm fractions is important. ⺠A proper aeration design is the key for driving carriers' recirculation. ⺠The HG-MBR can reduce MLSS concentration without loss of removal efficiency.
