Abstract
► We suggested a new adsorbent for the adsorption of formaldehyde from water samples. ► Effects of different parameters on the adsorption efficiency were studied. ► We used the sorbent for removal of formaldehyde from environmental samples. ► The isotherms were determined and the adsorption capacity was calculated.
