Abstract
âºFast kinetics and considerable adsorption capacity of 5.16 mg/g. âºpH dependent F- adsorption, by coulombic attraction and ion exchange interactions. âºPresence of other anions shows adverse effect on F- removal capacity. âºThe optimum pH range of 5-7 makes it suitable for water treatment. âºBauxite is a simple, cost effective and abundantly available mineral.
