Abstract
⺠Honokiol applied within 3 h after reperfusion protects ischemia-induced brain damage. ⺠Honokiol prevents glutamate- or OGD-induced neuronal injury. ⺠Honokiol blocks glutamate-induced PSD95-nNOS interaction in cortical neurons. ⺠Honokiol inhibits the translocation of nNOS from cytosol to membrane. ⺠Honokiol reversibly inhibits NMDA current in CA1 pyramidal neurons.
