Abstract
► We present data on somatosensory processing during finger movement in awake human subjects. ► We demonstrate a robust change in intracortical somatosensory processing during movement. ► We provide evidence for a selective suppression of postsynaptic inhibition at area 3b during movement. ► The reduction of inhibition may correspond to reduced activity of parvalbumin-positive interneurons.
