Abstract
âºInhibition of NO synthases enhances TRH mRNA levels in hypothalamic PVN. âºInhibition of NO synthases reduces serum thyrotropin concentration. âºThe effect of NO may include a direct action on hypothalamic neurons. âºInhibition of NO synthase blocked cold stress-induced increase in TSH release. âºProduction of NO may control the activity of the HPT axis.
