Abstract
âºLeft medial temporal lobe (MTL) NAA/Choline decreased in monkeys subject to early-life stress. âºRight MTL NAA was positively associated with body mass. âºLeft NAA/Choline decrease was due to independently low NAA and high Choline. âºEarly-life stress correlated with asymmetrical MTL NAA changes (left < right) âºNAA reduction may reflect low neuronal viability of the hippocampus following early life stress.
