Abstract
⺠We review recent findings on the genetics of mirror movements (MM). ⺠Genes associated with MM-related phenotypes guide the development of many circuits. ⺠Mutations in DCC and RAD51 cause congenital MM. ⺠We discuss the relationship between the genetic and neuroanatomical basis of MM.
