Abstract
⺠Chronic cannabinoid exposure induces long-lasting molecular effects in the brain. ⺠Brain neuroadaptations are mostly region-specific. ⺠Female sex and adolescence are vulnerable factors in cannabinoid addiction. ⺠Brain neuronal morphology and complexity are also affected by cannabinoids. ⺠An epigenetic effect of adolescent THC exposure has been discovered.
