Abstract
► Cp-AMPARs are expressed at the early stage of Hebbian and homeostatic synaptic plasticity. ► Cp-AMPARs are replaced with GluA2-containing AMPARs later in synaptic plasticity. ► Synaptic Cp-AMPARs may come from nearby dendritic regions or membrane insertion. ► Signaling pathways downstream of Cp-AMPARs need to be identified.
