Abstract
⺠Orientation selectivity cannot be tested easily with standard statistical tools. ⺠We propose to measure the inter-trial consistency of neuronal coding. ⺠Straightforward retrieval of p-values: mapping from reproducibility and sample size. ⺠We provide an easy-to-use Matlab algorithm online. ⺠Efficiency of our method is shown for single-unit and optical imaging experiments.
