Abstract
► Using HRMAS NMR we studied effects of ultra fast in vivo microwave (MW) irradiation on brain samples. ► We confirmed limitation of post mortem metabolism. ► We were able to separate groups according to tissue fixation methods (MW vs freezing). ► We report long term fixation and powerful NMR signal stabilization.
