Abstract
⺠Principles for designing a thermoelectric device for brain cooling are presented. ⺠Methodology for optimizing the performance of these devices is described. ⺠Construction details are shown for devices to cool superficial and deep brain areas. ⺠Measurements of the performance of these two devices are described.
