Abstract
Long-range temporal correlations (LRTC, up to 20Â s) in the amplitude dynamics of cortical alpha oscillations relate to subcortical intra-nuclear phase synchronization (coherence, milliseconds range) of beta oscillations in the subthalamic nucleus of patients with Parkinson's disease; this relation is termed “multiscale interactions”.202
