Abstract
⺠Identification of Dach1-expressing cells in the dorsal part of the lateral ventricles. ⺠They are suitable tool for studying processes of the adult neurogenesis. ⺠They self-renew and differentiate in vitro into glial and neuronal phenotype. ⺠Ischemia increases number of Dach1-expressing neuroblasts. ⺠These neuroblasts migrate into olfactory bulb and give rise to interneurons.
