Abstract
⺠A novel neurodevelopmental animal model of schizophrenia is presented. ⺠Developmental kynurenine treatment results in elevated KYNA levels into adulthood. ⺠Adults with elevated KYNA levels during development exhibit deficits in cognitive flexibility. ⺠These cognitive deficits are ameliorated by acute treatment with galantamine.
