Abstract

âº We examined cholinergic effects on medium spiny neurons in nucleus accumbens shell. âº Carbachol depolarized resting membrane potential and increased input resistance. âº Carbachol suppressed slowly depolarizing potential and increased rheobase. âº Cholinergic neuronal stimulation also suppressed slowly depolarizing potential.
