Abstract
⺠HMGB1 was released into the cytoplasm soon after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). ⺠Administration of ethyl pyruvate decreased the inflammation in the ICH. ⺠HMGB1 may act as an proinflammatory cytokine to mediate inflammation in the ICH.
