Abstract
⺠We measured auditory-evoked electrical and hemodynamic responses during wake. ⺠We varied the stimulus intensity to investigate potential perfusion limits. ⺠At higher intensity stimulation, the evoked electrical response size increased. ⺠At higher intensity stimulation, the evoked hemodynamic response size plateaued. ⺠There may be decreased vascular compliance during wake, limiting blood perfusion.
