Abstract
⺠Decrease in SNAP25 expression in brain areas of Alzheimer's Disease in relation to elderly controls. ⺠SNAP25 mRNA expression alterations in brain might suggest an impairment in synaptic function. ⺠The changes in the auditory cortex reflected those in the hippocampus and the entorhinal cortex. ⺠No Alzheimer's Disease-associated differences in SNAP25 promoter DNA methylation.
