Abstract

âº Expression of P2Y6 in rat retina is studied by double-labeled immunocytochemistry. âº P2Y6 is expressed in photoreceptor terminals and horizontal cells. âº P2Y6 is found in some amacrine cells, all ganglion cells and most bipolar cells. âº P2Y6 immunoreactivity is seen in both the outer and inner plexiform layers. âº No P2Y6 labeling is detected in AII amacrine cells and Müller cells.
