Abstract
⺠Ovariectomy plus d-galactose impaired cognitive performance in rats. ⺠Ginsenoside Rg1 promoted spatial learning and memory capacity in AD rats. ⺠Ginsenoside Rg1 inhibited Aβ1-42 generation in AD rats. ⺠Ginsenoside Rg1 modulated ADAM 10 and BACE 1 expression in AD rats. ⺠Ginsenoside Rg1 attenuated caspase 3 activity in AD rats.
