âº Group III mGluRs modulate cardiac-somatic reflex evoked by pericardiac capsaicin. âº Activation of mGluR7 depresses cardiac-somatic reflex. âº Activation of mGluR8 facilitates cardiac-somatic reflex. âº Opposite roles of mGluR7 and 8 may be related to different sites of action.
