Abstract
⺠Arc and Homer 1a expression was evaluated in rat hippocampus after maze learning. ⺠Co-expression of Arc and H1a is responsive to changes in spatial task demands. ⺠Arc and H1a expression level is in positive correlation with the behavioral performance. ⺠IEG expression in the hippocampus decreases when the spatial task is learned. ⺠Arc and H1a expression levels increase during memory retrieval.
