Abstract
⺠Glial, neuronal and vascular lesions were investigated after status epilepticus. ⺠We found widespread loss of GFAP and NeuN, and increased laminin immunoreactivity. ⺠Astrocytic lesions and increased laminin immunoreactivity were significantly related. ⺠Neuronal lesions were not related to increased laminin signal. ⺠Vascular lesions affect more astrocytes than neurons.
