Abstract
⺠Animals with kaolin injection ventricle developed communicating hydrocephalus. ⺠The insult of the whole CSF system caused hydrocephalus. ⺠Astrocytes, microgliosis and inflammation could be key factors of hydrocephalus. ⺠Astrocytes were positively correlated with the severity of ventricular dilatation.
