Abstract
⺠We explore GSH and S-nitrosothiols (RSNO) levels during acute phase of EAE. ⺠EAE animals were treated by aminoguanidine and N-acetyl-L-cysteine. ⺠The GSH levels are decreased and RSNO levels are increased during early phase of EAE. ⺠Increased GSH level and thiols content in CNS ameliorate clinical signs of EAE. ⺠GSH and RSNO appear to be the potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets in EAE.
