Abstract
⺠Zebrafish Pcdhα and Pcdhγ protein have similar distributions. ⺠Zebrafish Pcdhα and Pcdhγ strongly label synaptic regions in the brain and retina. ⺠Pcdhα and Pcdhγ can be isolated as a complex in vivo. ⺠Neither Pcdhα, nor Pcdhγ exhibit adhesive activity. ⺠Overexpression of the Pcdhγ cytodomain inhibits synaptic vesicle clustering in spinal axons.
