Abstract
⺠Depletion of Kiaa2022 inhibits neurite outgrowth of PC12 cells. ⺠Kiaa2022 is termed as an XLMR protein relating to neurite extension (Xpn). ⺠Xpn mRNA is expressed transiently during the perinatal stages in the mouse brain. ⺠Xpn protein is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm throughout brain development.
